Interaction Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be representing a well established and reputable local client in their search for a Part Time Accounts Assistant to join their team based just South of Cambridge.

Working 15 hours per week, ideally 3 hours per day Monday to Friday (although there is flexibility depending on circumstances).  

Reporting to the Finance Director,  this is a very varied role where you will be responsible for accounting tasks across 2 group businesses, where typical duties include:

  • Posting daily cash receipts, credit card receipts and non purchase ledger payment into SAP
  • Monthly bank reconciliation for GBP, USD and Euro accounts
  • Credit control
  • Resolve queries, providing information required such as copy invoices, proof of delivery etc...
  • Processing credit notes
  • Set up and open new customer accounts on the system
  • Various reporting tasks - such as sales orders taken, customers on stop etc...
  • Send out customer statements on a monthly basis
  • Processing credit card transactions for various card holders

Applications are welcomed from individuals with the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role will be essential
  • IT Literate, Microsoft Excel is essential and experience of SAP would be advantageous
  • Team player with a flexible attitude

Due to location, own transport is essential as there is no public transport to their site.

Salary will be pro-rata'd to reflect the reduced hours, benefits include 23 days annual leave + Bank Holidays (Pro-rata'd), Pension after probationary period
