Talentedge are actively recruiting for a Part Qualified/Finalist Management Accountant for a rapid growth, global property company. The role is office based 4 days per week and paying £50-£60k+study support per annum.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and posting monthly balance sheet journals (accruals, accrued income, prepayments, depreciation, goodwill amortisation).
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and trial balance reports.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts including variance analysis and commentaries for board.
  • Preparation of departmental Profit and Losses.
  • Assist with preparation of annual forecasts (turnover forecasts, costs budgets, staff budgets etc) for the entire business, assisting with business planning processes.
  • Preparation of departmental dashboards.
  • Preparation of annual hourly rate calculations.
  • Project cost reporting / Job cost report preparation.
  • Analysing data and assisting Financial Controller with providing additional management and strategic information to the business.
  • Seeking to find areas for improvement and streamlining.
  • Overseeing the Finance Assistant, checking and reviewing their work and assisting them in their learning journey and career development.
  • Assisting with year-end audit preparation, managing the audit process and all queries.
  • Preparing/uploading monthly payments employee payroll, suppliers, and other payables.
  • Preparation and submission of payroll file to payroll provider, adding new employees to payroll system, fully reviewing payroll. Updating of company salary schedules.
  • Preparation of monthly pension file, upload to pension provider system.
  • Management and administration of Salary sacrifice benefits including Electric Vehicles and Cyclesheme.
  • Preparation of P11d and PSA return for filing with HMRC.
  • Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns.
  • Cashflow management, including weekly cashflow preparation.
  • Preparing/uploading monthly payments for employee payroll, suppliers, and other payables.
  • Completing all OFNS reports.
  • Debtor chasing and reporting to senior team. Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and address any payment delays or discrepancies promptly.
  • Coordinating with other departments to assist in handling all credit-related matters appropriately.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and addressing their queries or concerns related to credit.

Applicants must have's:

  • Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA studier
  • A minimum of 3 years expereince in a management accounts role ideally within a SME
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Pro-active and solutions focused attitude
  • Ambitious and looking to learn and progress
