Are you a candidate who is degree qualified within a technology related field? Do you have experience in system implementation management and system programming? The Recruitment Co. are currently supporting one of our key clients and this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Job Responsibilities:

  • With business stakeholders, sponsors, Project Managers, end users, and other business support functions.
  • Accountable for project delivery and establish internal and external benchmarks and appropriate KPI's as the basis for demonstrating the quality and effectiveness of delivery.
  • Accountable for managing risks, issues, changes, and escalations. Determine and implement solutions and mitigating actions where necessary.
  • Financial responsibility for project expenditure, including establishing budgets, monitoring spends and re-forecasting on a regular basis to highlight any potential issues.
  • Responsible for forming and managing effective relationships with business stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of pro-activity, innovation, transparency, collaboration and flexibility in all aspects of project delivery.
  • Responsible for managing third party suppliers to achieve the desired project outcomes.

The Person:

  • Degree and professional qualification, or equivalent experience knowledge
  • Technical awareness to manage projects with a high degree of technology content
  • Has sufficient credibility and gravitas, and ability to work with and relate to a highly demanding internal client base and complex external supplier base
  • Appreciation of how the architecture, policies and governance are applied to delivery of the project.
  • Financial and cost management. Ranging from; low level detailed cost/spend analysis, benefits realisation, to high level project and programme level spend
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience of dealing with internal, external and third-party supplier senior level decision makers
  • Commercial awareness and drive. Strong awareness is required to firmly ground all projects and ensure spend and benefits are constantly tracked and articulated clearly
  • People management and leadership. Experience in dealing with teams of project managers and business analysts and ability provide steer and guide through each stage of the project life cycle
