Pertemps are currently recruiting for reliable Parcel Delivery Drivers to join our client in Woking and the surrounding areas on a full time, temporary basis. If successful, you will be responsible for delivering parcels to residential properties in a timely and efficient manner, while providing excellent customer service.

Start date: ASAP

Duration: Temporary Approx.6 weeks.

Schedule: Monday-Saturday 12.30-20:00 ( Flexible on what days you can work

Pay rate: £13.37ph Monday- Saturday and Sundays £14.49ph
Overtime after 40 hours £15.36ph

Location: Woking, GU21

Main duties of the Parcel Delivery Driver:

Accurately sorting the mail for your route and loading your van at the beginning of your shift

Driving a van to delivering parcels to residential properties and occasional letters, providing excellent customer service
Using a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries and follow your route

The ideal Parcel Delivery Driver:

Full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address)

No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
Happy to consent to a DBS check
Experience in a customer facing role
Experience in a delivery driving role would be ideal but not essential as training will be provided
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Good organisational skills
Comfortable completing a postal route on foot, as this may occasionally be required
