Paraplanning Manager
The Role
Our Client is looking for a Senior Paraplanner / Paraplanner Manager to work closely with their paraplanning team to ensure their advisers receive unrivalled paraplanning support. Their overarching aim is that clients benefit from the best independent financial advice and to do this they require a experienced paraplanning manager / supervisor who has experience of managing an exceptionally knowledgeable paraplanning team.
You will manage, motivate and develop a team of report writers and paraplanners to ensure that the highest quality of written reports and research is produced.
Working closely with Senior Management to deliver an efficient and effective paraplanning service to our advisers and ensure the workload between paraplanners and advisers is evenly distributed to meet the needs of the business.
Responsibilities
Train, manage and develop a team of Report Writers and Paraplanners
Ensure our Financial Advisers receive the highest standard of support
Manage the work flow between advisers and paraplanners
Conduct regular 121 meetings ensuring your teams continued professional development
Support the team to achieve RO qualifications
Recommend and develop ways in which to improve the paraplanning service and process
Keep abreast of all industry knowledge and cascade this to your team during weekly catch ups
Requirements:
Diploma Level 4 qualified as a minimum
Experience of managing a team
Ideally chartered Status
In depth Paraplanning experience
Excellent knowledge of pension transfers, investments, SIPPS, post retirement and inheritance tax planning
25 days holiday (rising with length of service) plus Bank Holidays, Birthday Leave, Holiday Purchase Scheme, Life Assurance, Pension and Corporate Eyecare.
