Paraplanners - Job searching after the end of the 2023/24 tax year?

PARAPLANNERS! Are you thinking about a new opportunity following the end of the 23/24 tax year? Do any of the below scenarios relate to you?

  • Have you not had a pay rise in the last 2 years?
  • Is your take home pay not keeping pace with inflation?
  • Are you not being paid what you deserve for the work you do?
  • Does your current working pattern not meet your needs? I.e. working from home days
  • Are you getting the training, development, and progression you need?
  • Are you close to completing exams and want to put them to good use?

As we approach the end of the tax year, the wealth management recruitment market remains very buoyant. Several financial planning businesses are continuing to recruit and once we are into the new tax year interviews will start to take place. However, the low supply of high-quality candidates in relation to the demand remains as the overarching challenge.

Financial Advisers and their support staff have been busier than ever. The Government’s most recent Budget Statement will heavily impact upon the ongoing work of Financial Advisers and the advice they offer their clients. Despite 2024’s uncertain economic outlook, hiring managers have told me that their recruitment plans may increase further to ensure they are adequately staffed to cater for their clients’ needs and with the implementation of the Consumer Duty regulations.

Would you like a review of your current salary in comparison to the current market rate? Do you want to hear about some vacancies I am working on currently? Would you be keen to have a general chat about the current marketplace?

Feel free to get in touch for a confidential discussion.
