A small, professional, and welcoming Independent Financial Planning firm who are growing due to continued success are recruiting for a Trainee Paraplanner to join their team.

We are ideally looking for a candidate that has already been working as an Paraplanner or looking to make the next step into paraplanning. The role offers excellent scope for progression and earning potential. As well as exam support for relevant qualifications.

As a trainee we are looking for existing Financial Planning environment experience.
 
Duties include:
  • Preparing and maintaining client files.
  • Identify and obtain the information necessary to compile financial planning options
  • Undertake research to identify suitable solutions to meet the client’s needs
  • Prepare information/comparisons for analysis
  • Prepare suitability letters
  • Complete application forms and proposals
  • Submit paperwork to provider(s) to ensure agreed investment strategy is implemented promptly and correctly Review
  • Review investment portfolio, asset allocation, risk profile etc
  • Send planning figures to client for update and revision in preparation for next meeting
  • Prepare post review summary letters for issue to clients
 
The ideal candidate:
  • Will hold certificate in or working towards relevant financial planning qualification
  • Experience in a financial planning firm 
  • Confident customer facing manner
  • Good all round financial services experience - ideally gained with an IFA
  • IT literate
 
Salary is dependent on experience
Hybrid based working available 
Monday - Friday
