An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Paraplanner to join a reputable financial services firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing efficient and effective support to the financial advisory team.

Description

As Paraplanner you will be responsible for:

  • Support the financial advisory team in the preparation and administration of financial plans and reports, offering a strong technical knowledge and assistance for clients
  • Preparing suitability letters
  • Preparing presentation packs for clients, ensuring all paperwork is compliant
  • Perform research to identify suitable financial solutions and areas for planning for clients
  • Providing technical support to advisers, client service team and other teams as and when required
  • Ensure all client information is recorded accurately and kept confidential.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial products, industry changes and legislation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Assist in the implementation of agreed financial plans.
  • Handle client queries and provide excellent customer service.

Profile

A successful Paraplanner should have:

  • Proven experience in a paraplanning role with strong report writing skills and research experience
  • Part/qualified diploma level 4
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Proactive and detailed approach
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Knowledge of Intelligent Office, FE Analytics, Selectapension, Cash Calc systems
