Paraplanner - Birmingham, hybrid (1 day per week in office, minimum) - National Wealth Management Organisation

Salary negotiable to £50,000 + Comprehensive company Benefits package

We are currently working with an international Wealth and Investment Management business to recruit for an experienced Paraplanner to join their team in the busy Birmingham office.

Due to an internal promotion, the firm now requires a professional candidate with significant Paraplanning experience in the financial planning or wealth management sector to join the business to provide report writing and research assistance to the Senior Financial Planning Partner in Birmingham.

Requirements:

Key tasks and responsibilities within this role will include:

• Minimum 3 years' previous experience as a Paraplanner
• Excellent report writing skills
• Candidates will be Diploma qualified as a minimum and ideally Chartered, although experienced individuals studying towards this will be considered
• Candidates should have experience with HNW individuals and working on technical cases such as DB Transfers, EIS, VCT's, offshore bonds etc

On offer:

• Carry out research on a full range of financial planning products and services including pensions, life insurance, tax planning and investment management
• Prepare client centric suitability reports and other documentation, adhering to the Company’s processes and compliance framework.
• Be proactive in supporting the Wealth Planners and take the initiative to maintain your technical knowledge, keeping updated on developments and movements in the financial markets and industry
• Act as a technical point of contact within the team for more junior colleagues and Financial Planners
