A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Paraplanner to join a thriving firm of financial planners who specialise in giving advice on a wide range of financial planning areas such as retirement planning, estate planning, protection both individual and corporate and investments.

You will join a family-friendly and highly supportive team where training will be provided along with ongoing professional development.

Duties will include:

• Conducting research on products and providers, assisting them in finding the right solutions for clients
• Creating suitability reports justifying the reason for each piece of advice
• Writing Financial Planning Reports for planners to present to clients
• Assisting with reviews and customer requests as well as acting as a point of contact for clients to deal with day-to-day queries
• Arranging for plans to be submitted to provider companies liaising with administrators
• Maintaining client records on the company software and ensuring the client and firm's files are well presented, accurate and compliant
• Preparation of client review packs
• Keeping up to date with financial products and legislation
• Complying with all company and industry guidelines, rules and regulations

Requirements

Applicants will ideally have previous experience providing technical support to financial planners ideally in an independent financial planning environment.

Candidates will have exceptional work ethic, enthusiasm and good organisational skills. You will also need an ability to communicate effectively and build rapport and you will enjoy speaking to clients.
