Paralegal

Our client is seeking a Paralegal to provide administrative and legal support to their partners, with the potential to manage your own caseload. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in conveyancing and local government law, as well as private client, family, and litigation matters.
Day-to-day of the role:- Support the conveyancing and local government teams with tasks such as investigating titles, undertaking property searches, liaising with third parties, preparing property transfer forms, making applications to the Land Registry, and assisting with drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, and other property-related documents.
- Assist fee earners in private client, family, and litigation teams with administrative and legal tasks.
- Conduct legal research as required.
- Engage with clients both over the telephone and in person.
- Manage file opening, closing, and archiving, as well as other compliance matters.
- Handle document-related tasks including scanning, filing, copying, and collating, as well as creating bundles.
- Raise invoices and follow up with debtors.
- Experience in a legal support role is preferred.
- Familiarity with conveyancing processes and local government law.
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle client interactions professionally.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to meeting the firm’s standards for billing, file and case management, professional conduct, confidentiality, and health and safety.
