THE BUSINESS

Westray Recruitment Group are seeking an experienced Panel Wireman to join our client based in Washington. The right candidate will be joining a well-established company who are recognised as specialists in their field. The company is going through a period of growth and has a healthy order book. Our client has been operating for over 30 years and supplies multiple sectors across the globe.

THE ROLE

Ability to read and understand technical electrical (control and power) schematic drawings and wire the equipment to these drawings
Distribution boards, switchboard and control panel / cabinet assembly and wiring
Adhering and working to health and safety legislations
Adherence to company policies and procedures
Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area
Complete given tasks in an efficient, fast and friendly manner
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

THE PERSON

Applicable Apprenticeship and/or time served or relevant qualifications (C&G, BTEC or equivalent)
Experience of wiring distribution boards, switchboards and control panels
Good inter-personal skills, team work, hands-on approach with effective verbal and written communication skills
Experience working on distribution boards and switchboards assembly
Ability to be proactive and work with minimal supervision
Ability to work methodically and to high standards
