This is an opportunity to join the Assembly team of a pharmaceutical manufacturer in Liverpool as a Panel Wireman. The primary purpose of the role is to will be but not limited to wiring/connection of control panels and pre-testing of full systems and sub-assemblies.

Panel Wireman - Pharmaceutical Position Overview

  • Competent in assembling panels according to the technical drawings, schedules, and specifications
  • Testing of panel build ahead of handover to final assembly and testing of main equipment
  • Using hand/crimp/soldering/power tools and automated machinery.
  • Crimping, looming and cable terminating work on control panels. (Accurately numbering, crimping and stripping of various cables).
  • Full understanding of small and large electrical control panels.
  • Ability to plan, organise, and manage workload within the Controls Assembly Team
  • Work in collaboration with Goods In to ensure the right stock is available for projects.
  • General electrical assembly tasks.

Panel Wireman - Pharmaceutical Position Requirements

  • Time served apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  • HNC or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and electronically.
  • Analytical & Problem Solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of electrical regulations.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding electrical drawings.
  • Organisational Skills.

Panel Wireman - Pharmaceutical Position Remuneration

  • Salary dependent on experience £28k-£33k
  • OVT
  • 4 day week (Monday to Thursday)
  • Monday-Wednesday 07:30-17:30+Thursday 07:30-17:00
