PANEL TECHNICIAN OPPORTUNITY.

Join the prestigious Stephen James BMW & MINI Group as a Panel Technician and work at our new state of the art Approved Accident Repair Centre in Woolwich. This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to our exceptional team and advance your career with a leading company in automotive retail and aftermarket services.

YOUR ROLE.

As a Panel Technician at Stephen James, you will play a crucial role in our Bodyshop, ensuring the repair of accident damaged vehicles is conducted with the highest level of skill and accuracy, in alignment with BMW & MINI’s standards. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining the integrity and quality of vehicles that our brand is known for.

Main Duties Include:

  • Repairing and replacing damaged body components and panels to vehicles
  • Utilizing specialized machinery and tools for dent removal and panel beating
  • Applying welding techniques for structural repairs
  • Collaborating with the Bodyshop team to ensure swift and efficient turnaround of vehicles.
  • Inspecting vehicles for quality control

YOUR PROFILE.

  • Proven experience working in an accident repair centre as a panel beater or multiskilled technician
  • Demonstrable experience as a Panel Technician with a solid track record of high-quality work
  • To have an ATA or NVQ Panel Technician qualification or equivalent.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
  • Eligibility to work in the UK

SALARY AND HOURS.

Basic salary £40,000 with an OTE of £52,000 per annum.

Working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
