Panel Beater

£20 per hour plus bonus

Ipswich

Permanent/Full Time

Monday - Friday (7am - 4pm)

Our client, located in Ipswich, is looking for an experienced Panel Beater to join their team. If you have experience as a Panel Beater and you are looking for your next motor trade role - get in touch with us today and see if we can help!

Duties & Responsibilities of a Panel Beater:

  • Removing damaged panels.
  • Inspecting vehicles and establishing the extent of the damage and deciding on a repair or replacement.
  • Stripping/Refitting new and repaired panels.
  • Vehicle servicing and repairs.
  • Reporting unseen damage as soon as it’s identified.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.

Your Background & Skill:

  • Previous experience as a Panel Beater within a main dealer or independent.
  • Commercial Vehicle experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • NVQ or ATA Qualified (preferred but not essential).
  • Ability to work within a team and on your own.
  • Keen eye for detail and quality.
  • Strong and thorough understanding of vehicle refurbishment.
