First Achieve's Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for a contract Industrial Painter/Coating Inspector to join an established and growing company in the Edinburgh region for a 3 month contract with the potential to go permanent. Our client is an international manufacturer, dedicated to defence industries world-wide.

You will be expected to work with minimal supervision, across the business premise, with a high quality of care.

What's on Offer:

  • Wage is subject to negotiation, pending qualifications and experience
  • 37 hours per week, spread over 4 days
  • Monday to Thursday work week, 7am to 5pm
  • OT available at 1.5X minimal
  • Can pay via Ltd or Umbrella
  • 3 month contract with potential to go permanent

Essential criteria, skills, experience and knowledge requirements:

The successful candidate must have:

  • A minimal of 2 years experience of Industrial Painting/Coating Inspection
  • Prior experience working in a heavy industrial environment
  • Have a minimal of ICORR Level 1
  • Sole ownership of British citizenship and not hold citizenship/passport in any other country
  • Not spent a solid block of 6+ months outside the UK in the last 6 years
  • The ability to reliably commute to the site, preferably by car
