Paint Technician

We are currently offering a unique opportunity for a Paint Technician to join our client in Dubai at a luxury classic car restoration body repair centre. This is not an ordinary Paint Technician role, as it requires exceptional care and attention, you will be working on rare and vintage cars. The bodyshop is fully equipped with high-end, state-of-the-art spray booths. We are seeking an expert who can exhibit a deep passion for their craft.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, priming, and masking as necessary.
• Carefully matching and mixing water based and solvent based paint
• Applying paint with modern techniques and by hand
• Ensure a perfect and flawless finish
• Maintain a meticulous and organised work area

Ideal Candidate

• Currently in a similar role with over 5 years' experience of preparing and finishing high-end luxury, classic and vintage vehicles
• Experience working with high-end and luxury vehicles is highly desirable
• ATA or PAS 125 accredited
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering flawless paint finishes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• We will consider applicants currently in the UK/Europe or in the Middle East region who have experience with classic or vintage cars
