Paint Prepper / Gerrards Cross / £25,000 to £27,000

Are you an experienced Paint Prepper? You could be progressing your career at a world class and very successful Manufacturing company who have been awarded multiple queens awards and provide a range of complex safety equipment for the Aerospace / Defence markets.

You will be responsible for the masking, bead blasting and surface preparation of small and precisely manufactured components.

Location / Hours:
You'll be based close to Gerrards Cross; you'll need to be able to drive there or be on close public transport links. Free parking available.

Hours are Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 12pm
Overtime can be worked each day from 7am to 8am at time and a half.

Candidates from a model making or car painting background are urged to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Work to drawings and build plans to ensure the correct finishes are used and applied to high standards
• Influence the painting processes with continuous improvements
• Work with a range of materials
• Adhere to the relevant procedures and specifications, maintaining high and consistent quality levels
• Work to the relevant H&S regulations, making sure that all regulations and requirements are met

Skills and Experience:

• Surface preparation processes, including masking and bead blasting
• Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
• Knowledge of relevant H&S and COSHH regulations
• Experience within a manufacturing environment
