Our client is an innovative and successful global gambling brand looking to hire a Paid Social Manager to support the further growth of their global brand.

The Role

This team acts as an internal agency to stakeholders around the world to define and deliver against our performance marketing plans. They have a multi-million-pound digital performance budget focused globally, with plans to enter many new markets over the next few years. The Paid Social Manager will assist with the development of full-funnel campaigns in multiple markets, with a focus on Meta (web journey and app install) in various global markets. The role is performance-oriented and requires someone who can multi-task between measuring data, developing creative, content analysis and reporting insights to stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-senior marketer to continue their journey to mastery on Paid Social. Experience managing campaigns on Meta and other paid social channels is a must as well as experience working with iGaming brands. Your expertise will contribute to digital marketing operations that increase brand awareness and help deliver new player acquisition,retention and branding strategies. Working closely with the Paid Social Manager and Head of Digital, you will contribute to the development and execution of performance marketing strategies to drive growth and maximize ROI. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for staying abreast of industry trends.

Key responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for designated markets, managing the paid social channels. Tasks include developing creative, publishing assets, targeting set-up and reporting results on daily and weekly periods.
  • Working with digital marketing managers globally to help plan, deliver and execute successful monthly, quarterly and annual marketing plans for Paid Social channels.
  • Coordinate with digital marketing and marcomms/creative teams to produce creative assets including visual images and video plus copywriting.
  • Analyse successful ads to recommend and initiate A/B testing models in multi markets across different platforms
  • Measure campaigns in line with CPA and CLV targets. This includes bottom of funnel customer acquisition campaigns and higher funnel campaigns which are evaluated on softer brand related metrics.
  • Ability to drive complex strategies but also to explain them to nurture junior members of staff and non-digital stakeholders.
  • Liaise with data side of the marketing team to ensure tracking is set-up optimally. Implement tracking links and landing pages to ensure all published ads are fully functional.
  • Absorb overseas market nuances and understand how different cultures and audience behaviours feed into marketing strategies beyond the UK.
  • Review competitor paid social ads on a weekly basis for inspiration and insights related to what you do and present quarterly insights to relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for increased automation and efficiency through advanced technical solutions
  • Leading internal and external meetings related to your managed work.

The Paid Social Manager requirements

You must have iGaming (sports betting / casino) products experience and be able to step into a senior role with an expectation on delivering profitable results.

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in Paid Social campaign management.
  • Proficiency in Meta, X platforms with a strong understanding of campaign setup and optimization.
  • Experience with creative briefing, ad testing methodologies, and bid management strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in the iGaming industry, including compliance knowhow.
  • Experience working with Tableau or digital visualisation tools.
  • Experience using Appsflyer.
  • Sound understanding of Paid Social platforms (Meta/X/Snap) and their features (Advantage+)
  • Demonstrable experience working with in house creative teams to develop engaging social content that drives results
  • Strong organisational skills and experience of balancing multiple projects at once
  • Familiarity with Microsoft products to report results - Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficient to work on performance reports and present naturally.
  • Ability to work reliably in a busy team - build relationships with members of teams internally and any external agencies.
  • Experience working with multi-nationals with the ability to assimilate relevant cultural and regulatory differences.
  • Must understand tagging, tracking and attribution, particularly GTM.
  • Confident, seeks initiative and bold to try new things
