Day Webster Recruitment Agency is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Paediatrics Specialist Registrar (SPR) to join our esteemed medical team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to the delivery of high-quality paediatric care and further their career in a supportive environment.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert paediatric care to infants, children, and adolescents with a wide range of medical conditions and illnesses.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and management plans for paediatric patients, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Perform procedures, treatments, and interventions as required, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and safety.
  • Participate in ward rounds, clinics, and outpatient services, delivering compassionate and family-centered care.
  • Support junior medical staff and students through teaching, supervision, and mentorship.
  • Contribute to audit, research, and quality improvement projects to enhance paediatric services and patient outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Completion of core paediatric training and entry onto the Specialist Register (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience in providing paediatric care in a hospital setting, including neonatal and paediatric intensive care units.
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to patient-centred care, safety, and continuous professional development.
