Northampton General Hospital is recruiting a Specialist Doctor in Pediatrics for a temporary position from 27th February 2024 to 20th May 2024. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing expert medical care to pediatric patients within various clinical settings.

Responsibilities:
The Specialist Doctor will conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for pediatric conditions. They will manage acute and chronic illnesses, as well as pediatric emergencies, working closely with pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes. Maintaining accurate medical records and effective communication with patients and their families are also key responsibilities.

Requirements:
Applicants must hold a medical degree and be fully registered with the GMC. Experience working in Pediatrics at the Specialist Doctor level is essential, along with strong clinical skills and knowledge of pediatric medicine. Excellent communication skills, particularly when interacting with children and families, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team are required.
