Who are we ?

We are FBC UK, Fox's Burton's Companies! ……And we bake the UK's most incredible biscuits (we might be slightly biased, but we will leave that for you to judge).

FBC UK was a match made in heaven, with two of the top UK biscuits manufacturers (Burton's Biscuits and Fox's Biscuits) coming together to create one unique, integrated company.

We are home to famous iconic brands, including Maryland, Fox's, Jammie Dodger & Rocky, to name just a few. We are proud manufacturing partners to some of the biggest UK retailers and household names. We bake our incredible biscuits at eight bakeries across the UK, located at Isle of Arran, Livingston, Blackpool, Llantarnam, Edinburgh, Kirkham, Batley & Dorset and our HQ in St Albans. Together, we employ circa 4,000 amazing colleagues across all our locations.

We are currently the second biscuit manufacturer in the UK market with a strong ambition of becoming UK Market Leader.

Whilst we know that we have delicious products we also know that that the key ingredient to our success is our people, and the passion we have for our brands. You could be the jammy to our dodger, party ring to our Fox’s or the choc-chip to our Maryland?!   We knead people with innovative ideas, an entrepreneurial spirit, and the commitment to drive FBC UK to success.

What does your typical day look like?

As a Packing Operative you will be a pivotal part in making sure our biscuits reach our customers in great condition. You will be picking biscuits from the lines into skillets, feeding skilleted biscuits into Cartons and packing biscuits. You will also support your colleagues and team leaders with other packing duties as required and adhere to basic PPE and Plant Safety Standards. It’s a fast paced role and requires a certain level of fitness as it does have a large element of physical work in order to complete the tasks to a high standard, you may also need to stand for the whole duration of your shift.

What are the key ingredients needed for the role?

Attention to detail is key as we pride ourselves on the quality of our products. Ideally, you will already have some manufacturing experience, but applications from a fast-paced environment are welcome, such as Warehouse, Logistics, Supply Chain or other roles where you have to be on your feet for a number of hours at a time, i.e. Cleaning, Retail, Bar / Restaurant Work as full training will be provided. You will be trained to Food Hygiene Level 2 as part of your role. Not only will you be joining a great team, if you enjoy the role and perform well you can seek the opportunity to be trained further in other areas of our operations team.

If you are ready to begin a career with real bite, we would love to hear from you so apply now by clicking the link below.
