Packaging and Waste Management Supervisor (Nights)

MC Personnel are delighted to be advertise for this role, Our clients located in Northfleet are looking for a Packaging and Waste Management Supervisor (Nights) to ultimately ensure all packaging & yard areas are tidy, organised and no unauthorised staff enter the packaging stores or yard areas, if any unauthorised staff are found in the warehouse or yard area they must be challenged and reported to their line Manager.

Main duties:

• The organisation of the team and to overseeing the Packaging, Yard & Waste Management teams in their day-to-day work to ensure all staff are working correctly following all procedures.

• Conduct effective staff training ensuring all staff are competent to carry out specific tasks, training will also be supported by your line manager.

• Oversee and support in the unloading of delivery vehicles that arrive on site in a safe and controlled manner following all intake processes.

• Overseeing the movement of pallets/stock around the warehouse & Yard in a safe and controlled manner

• Supervise the picking and supplying of packaging in advance according to the daily packaging plans and supply to the airlock room in preparation for production.

• Effectively liaise with Customer equipment and purchasing teams regarding delivery discrepancies
• Understand, Oversee and able to complete the On Hold Procedure of compromised stock.

• Communicate correct redundant stock information to the purchasing team.

• Assist Your Line Manager with planning weekly rotas to ensure full and efficient cover is deployed across both Packaging & Yard teams.

Who we are looking for:

• Prior knowledge of warehouse/stock work is essential
• Current valid FLT certification / license
• Experience managing a team

Shift Pattern:

Days and Hours of Work: Sunday to Wednesday, 17:00 - 05:00 (can also be Thursday to Sunday)
