Packaging and Dispatch Technician – Temp - £11.91 – Cambridge

Clinical research provider are seeking an experienced Packaging and Dispatch Technician to join their team at their Cambridge facility.

This is an ongoing temporary role to start ASAP and will pay £11.91 per hour.

Working hours:                 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Reporting to the Production Manager, the main duties of the Packaging and Dispatch Technician will include:
  • Carry out tasks relating to the production process, in particular final product assembly, dispatch, and warehouse duties. 
  • Monitoring and maintaining stock levels of materials and reagents within the kit assembly area
  • Maintaining a clean and organised working environment at all times
  • Raising Material Transfer Form requests to replace stock as necessary
  • Assisting with Materials Management tasks as directed, including the selection, and picking of warehouse items using the iPassport system
  • Assisting, when required, with keying orders into the SAGE accounting system
  • Assisting with final dispatch packing
  • Executing and documenting tasks using approved ISO compliant documentation

The ideal Packaging and Dispatch Technician will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:
  • Experience of working in a production environment
  • Ability to work to deadlines and follow a process 
  • Computer literacy
  • Good attention to detail               
  • Some level of scientific qualification, ideally ‘A’ level or higher
