Job Title: Band 5/6 Orthoptist

Location: St Albans Children Centre, church Cres, St Albans AL3 5JB

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: (subject to reviews)

Working Pattern: 22.5h, Monday to Friday (3 days a week)

SPECIFIC SKILLS: JD AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST

  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of research relating to all aspects of Orthoptics, Ophthalmic and Optometric care.
  • Be responsible for Orthoptic assessments and treatments for the full range of Orthoptic referrals for both children and adult
  • Be able to use highly specialist skills to diagnose and treat all conditions as necessary
  • Maintain accurate clinical records
  • To ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment plans for patients of all age groups and mental and physical abilities
