Orthopaedic General Nurse

Experienced Registered General Nurses with a background in Orthopaedics are sought to join a renowned hospital team known worldwide for its commitment to innovation and research, providing high-quality care to patients at local, regional, and national levels. Key responsibilities for RGNs include:

1. Assisting patients with mobility and providing education on pre and post-operative self-protection.
2. Preparing patients for surgery.
3. Monitoring and administering pain medication.
4. Collecting urine, tissue, and blood samples.
5. Assisting with the application of wound dressings.
6. Checking vital signs.

Minimum requirements for applicants include NMC registration, a minimum of 6 months of relevant experience, a valid DBS, and the right to work. Candidates should also be willing to undergo any additional training required by the trust.
