Job Summary

We're looking for an additional part-time member for our Warehouse Team. The person who fills this role will be expected to work Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday each week, starting at 8:30am and finishing at 5pm.

The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day processing, packing and dispatching of successful orders. In addition, the role covers the end-of-day processing of orders, processing of returned items and the booking in of stock deliveries.

The post holder will be required to work quickly and accurately to complete their duties. They will use the Warehouse Management System (WMS), utilise handheld scanning devices for picking and goods-in and pack items to our high standards of presentation.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Review orders received in the WMS.
  2. Review batches of orders are acknowledged and picked in a timely manner.
  3. Review back orders and other anomalies on a daily basis ensuring these are dealt with quickly when stock is available and that customers are kept informed when delays are outside of agreed tolerance.
  4. Be responsible for the timely dispatch of orders, ensuring that there is sufficient time to dispatch everything before our cut-off.
  5. Pack orders, taking account of Service requirements & Additional instructions
  6. Check and book-in / unpack stock deliveries ensuring the paperwork is accurate and that website stock levels are updated. Deal with anomalies.
  7. Carry out stock checks as required, including the annual stock check which takes place during June, July and August each year.
  8. During periods of low activity, the post holder will be required to carry out ad-hoc tasks.
