Our client is high growth professional services outfit based in the heart of the countryside, situated in a barn converted, purpose-built office. The firm have doubled their turnover year on year, and they’re now looking to strengthen their back-office operations, to help drive their continued success.

The role will oversee a small team, and you’ll be managing their workflow, providing support and guidance, and working with the wider business to ensure project deadlines and objectives are met.

Some responsibilities will include:

Team management – Lead, motivate and coordinate the team. Provide feedback, coaching support etc.
Process improvement / quality assurance – Drive continuous improvements across the department, projects and processes.
Project co-ordination – work with project managers, clients and stakeholders to develop project timelines and milestones.
Training and development – Identify training needs and provide support to the wider team. Conduct workshops, lead one to one coaching session and encourage professional growth.
Communication and Collaboration – You’ll be the primary point of contact for the ops team and will work closely with other departments and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate:
  • Experience in an accounting or finance role would be beneficial or fully qualified AAT, CIMA, ACCA desirable
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational skills, and some project management knowledge experience

Salary on offer is between: £30,000-£40,000
