Finance Assistant  – 11 months contract - Part time - Up to £25p.h. (Inside IR35)

A Finance Assistant is required for a part time contract position with an internationally recognised pharmaceutical company.  The role will support the purchase order processes across their vendors, ensuring smooth and timely payments and invoices processed.  You will also be responsible for basic spend tracking, as well as dynamic forecasts/budgets.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the companies Vendors are set-up correctly within their payment systems.
  • Invoices are received and processes.
  • Order placing to the vendors; working with Procurement Card (P-card) or Purchase Request / Invoice.
  • Keep track of purchase order commitments and spend against them.
  • Track and forecast all consultant payment commitments.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments through the company finance systems.

Requirements:
  • Experience as an Operations Support Analyst, Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable or Finance Assistant or similar.
  • Experience with Accounts Payable and vendor setup case management.
  • Able to be onsite during working hours; no hybrid options.
  • Good numerical and communication skills.
  • Previous experience working with payment systems.

Overview:
  • Up to £25 per hour.
  • 11 month contract.
  • Part time; 18.5 hours per week.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Onsite; Stevenage office.
