We are working exclusively with a Precision Engineering/Manufacturer who are looking for an ambitious Operations (Production) Manager to join their site based in St Asaph.

The role is a great opportunity with career progression to eventually become General Manager/Site Director.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Experience/background from Production Management within manufacturing.
  • Responsible for the overall site operations ensuring Health, Safety, Cost, Delivery and People standards are met.
  • Maintaining and implementing Quality Standards using LEAN Tools, Systems and Continuous Improvements.
  • Proven to work effectively with and manage varies teams including Electrical/Maintenance/Quality/Mechanical Engineers.
  • Holding monthly reviews with the staff, ensuring KPIS and progression plans are on track. Training programmes are in place where needed.
  • Holding weekly and daily meetings, ensuring any H&S, maintenance etc issues are resolved as soon as possible.
  • Manage HR issues, absences, sickness and overtime.
  • Experience on the commercial side dealing with finances and CAPEX.

Salary/Job Benefits

  • £65,000 - £75,000
