Position Overview:

As an Operations Manager at Your Apartment, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of our Serviced Apartments and Aparthotels. Working closely with the senior management team, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of operations, enhancing guest satisfaction, and optimizing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence:

Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency across all sites across London.

Collaborate with department heads to streamline processes and improve overall operational efficiency.

Monitor and assess the performance of each site to identify areas for improvement.

Maintenance:

Coordinate and schedule routine maintenance tasks for the property.

Liaise with maintenance staff or contractors to ensure timely completion of repairs.

Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address any issues promptly.

Guest Experience:

Champion a culture of exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction.

Analyze guest feedback and implement strategies to enhance the overall guest experience.

Address and resolve escalated guest issues in a timely and effective manner.

Team Leadership:

Provide leadership and guidance to reservations, operations and cleaning teams.

Conduct regular training sessions to ensure staff members are well-versed in company standards and procedures.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to boost team morale.

Financial Management:

Work closely with the Director to manage budgets and control operational costs.

Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings.

Monitor financial reports and implement corrective actions as needed.

Stock management:

Quality Assurance:

Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Implement and monitor health and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.

Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address and rectify any quality issues.

Stock Management

Oversee inventory levels of all supplies and amenities

Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed.

Implement efficient stock control systems to minimize waste and optimize inventory turnover.

Qualifications:

Attention to detail is one of the most important skills required to be successful in this role.

Experience gained within a Serviced Apartment, Aparthotel, Hotel OR an Estate agency (Working as a property or block manager). Preferred candidate to have serviced apartment experience.

Advanced IT skills - At Your Apartment we use the latest software available to the hotel / serviced apartment industry. It is a critical skill set for this role.

Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience in hotel or Serviced apartment operations management, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.

Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and current market trends.

Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
