Location: -Hitchin
Salary: - Competitive day rate
Type: -Outside of IR35 contract for a minimum of 6 months
Working Hours: - Monday - Friday (fully onsite / site based)
My client is looking for an headstrong' individual with a strong operational background. Due to the nature of the company, this individual may come from a Chemical, Testing, Heavy Engineering or ATEX/Safety background.
The individual must have had exposure to health and safety, quality, and processes.
The contract will be for a minimum of 6 months, with the chance of extension or has the potential to go permanent
The Role
• Management of staff onsite
• Dealing with Quality processes
• Being involved with Health and Safety on site
• Responsible for associated budgets and budget planning/ forecasting
• Ensuring targets are met
The Person
• Previous experience working within a Chemical, Engineering, Testing/Lab or ATEX/Safety environment at a high level (Operations Manager etc).
• Must have strong emotional intelligence
• Previous management experience at higher level
• Calm composure
• Previous experience within H&S, Quality and Processes.
• The ideal candidate will have worked based qualifications (ATEX, NEBOSH, Six Sigma etc)
• Strong statistical analysis and budgeting skills
