Operational roles attract 'big picture’ thinkers, but what’s the point in seeing the big picture if you’re not empowered to implement your ideas?

Big picture thinkers need the support of a good practice. An employer who will encourage their creativity and give them the freedom to do their jobs.

This job and this employer can give you all that and more.

It’s an opportunity to use all your knowledge and experience to build a career with an established and highly regarded IFA firm. A firm that knows the value of someone who can look at all aspects of the financial planning business, understand how everything fits together and identify where improvements can be made. A firm that embraces progress and welcomes new ideas.

As part of the Senior Management Team, they’re offering an attractive salary (up to £70,000 depending on experience) along with a full benefits package potential for further bonus. They also operate a hybrid working policy between home and the office.

This is a varied role taking on aspects of strategy and growth planning, compliance, project work, staff development, office management and IT infrastructure.

So it certainly won’t be boring!

It will also involve driving performance by establishing systems and processes, identifying improvements in technology and streamlining the service proposition. All the while ensuring that the firm’s core objective of consistently delivering the very highest standards of client care and service is maintained.

It'll be fun too. It’s a great team, a great place to work and the office is based in an idyllic rural setting in West Yorkshire (so you’ll probably need to drive but there is plenty of parking).

Recognising the complexity of this appointment, the existing management team will work closely with the new incumbent and offer ongoing support as they integrate themselves into the role. They don’t expect applicants to be an 'expert’ in every area straight away. They will, however, need a good understanding of how all elements of the financial planning process fit together so applicants should have extensive experience of regulated financial planning and hold the diploma qualification as a minimum. Most importantly they will be a dynamic and proactive individual who relishes a challenge.
