The Operations Manager role:

We’re seeking an experienced operations manager to oversee daily activities. You will have a sharp business mind and proven success in managing multiple departments for maximum productivity.

A typical week would be Thursday - Monday, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off, so availability on the weekends is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Maintaining constant communication with senior management
+ Increasing the efficiency of existing processes and procedures
+ Ensuring that operational activities remain on time and within budget
+ Tracking logistics requirements
+ Leading, motivating, and supporting our logistics team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution
+ Managing data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets
+ Partnering with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems
+ Working closely with legal and safety departments to ensure that activities remain compliant
+ Overseeing materials and inventory
+ Conducting budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management

A bit about you:

+ Two or more years of proven success in an operations management role
+ Strong skills in budget development and oversight
+ Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organisational control of branch operations and customer service
+ Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Suite and Workforce Management Software (Liveforce)
+ Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in operations management, business administration, or related field preferable
+ Reporting experience
+ Ability to communicate well
