Location:Surrey (Flex) Salary: £60k-£65k

We are looking for a lively, fun lively events Operations Lead Event Management for a super cool, creative and caring client of ours. A full-service engagement agency delivering incredible experiential and meaningful experiences for audiences in virtual, hybrid and live events, strategy, content, production and technology. They are a communication, engagement and logistical agency for some of the world’s leading organisations.

You will need to have worked with Pharma Clients. Big advantage if experience of working in Congress Management environment.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of all projects and events. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the successful delivery of projects while managing our dedicated operations team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at strategic planning, and possess exceptional leadership skills.

Typical responsibilities

  • Analyse and report on key performance indicators to improve client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and decisions, ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Work closely with the Director of Event Management to optimize resource allocation.
  • Ensure efficient workload management and supervise task delivery.
  • Plan and coordinate project activities to align with client objectives.
  • Lead operational teams to ensure engagement across all service areas.
  • Develop and refine operational policies and procedures to enhance project delivery.
  • Conduct team briefings and debriefings to foster continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate project scopes and manage resources to maximize profitability.
  • Implement operational processes to streamline project execution and provide team training.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and supplier relationships for successful outcomes.
  • Attend onsite events to uphold quality standards and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Drive strategic development initiatives across client accounts.
  • Keep teams informed of deadlines and ensure adherence to service level agreements.
  • Update and maintain accurate client process documents.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and company data protection protocols.
  • Review and approve client budgets, ensuring profitability and accuracy.
  • Monitor financial updates and reconcile expenses promptly.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to meet service level agreements.
  • Manage team schedules and ensure timely submission of timesheets.
  • Mentor and coach team members to facilitate professional growth.
  • Collaborate with Talent Management to identify training needs and development plans.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to foster a culture of excellence.
  • Participate in the recruitment process to attract top talent for the team.
