Our client is a world renowned leading international Hotel brand, looking for an experienced Operations Director / Manager.  

The Ideal Candidate: 

Must have previous strong operational management experience in a 4 Star + property. 
Experience working with and supporting Head of Departments. 
Strong Food and Beverage background experience 
Previously focused on and maximised revenue, profitability, and quality.
Able to constantly evaluate operational performance.
Focus on Guest satisfaction and profitability  

The Role: 
  • Monitor present and future trends, practices and systems in the food and beverage and hospitality industries to ensure that the food and beverage operations are competitive in the marketplace.
  • Conduct weekly Health and Safety inspections of the Hotel, issue reports and drive adherence.
  • Participates in the development of recognition programmes for staff, advertising, promotional programs and campaigns to increase market awareness and penetration
  • Randomly inspects the hotel daily to ensure facilities and equipment are clean, well maintained, and replaced if necessary.
  • Checks the food and beverage outlets’ reservations lists, hotel arrival lists, Meeting and Event Orders, and VIP list to ensure that team members are aware of guest’s particular requirements and expectations.
  • Is proficient in all Operational procedures to be a resource when needed.
  • Control and analyses departmental costs & wages costs on an ongoing basis, take action to control negative deviation
  • Monitors hotels rotas and allowances. 
  • Audits operational services and quality in line with Quality Operational Standards regularly and develops and implements corrective strategies
