Operations Director

Position Overview:

The Operations Director is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimising the operational aspects of the fitness clubs within the organisation. This role involves strategic planning, process improvement, and team management to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of all operational elements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency and enhance the member experience.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including facility management, staffing, and member services.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
  • Analyse operational performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead and motivate a diverse team to achieve operational excellence and deliver exceptional service to members.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute business plans and initiatives.
  • Manage budgets and financial performance to achieve targets and maximize profitability.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and continuous learning.
  • Research and implement tech solutions that can enhance operational efficiency and improve member experience.

About You:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the fitness, hospitality or retail industry.
  • Proven track record of leadership and success in driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving business objectives and targets
