Are you an experienced Director or Operations Manager with previous experience of working in the Healthcare sector? Are you looking for a new position to lead a division responsible for a portfolio worth approximately $115 million? If so, please read on for a very exciting opportunity. This role involves full P&L accountability, managing and growing product and service offering and driving profitable growth. The successful candidate will demonstrate visible leadership, manage and inspire teams, and possess excellent operational and service delivery acumen to ensure the highest level of healthcare products and services.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee P&L for a business encompassing hospitals, emergency services, small providers and home oxygen services.
  • Manage financial aspects including planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
  • Lead the development and delivery of sector strategies, product and service offerings, including digital solutions.
  • Conduct contract and tender management to secure a sustainable pipeline of business.
  • Provide leadership in Homecare Operational and Service Delivery, ensuring service excellence and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead a team of approximately 130 people, focusing on development, performance management, and motivation.
  • Uphold SHEQ standards across the division, fostering a safety-first culture and meeting environmental expectations.
  • Drive sales team performance, ensuring responsibility for the full product portfolio and achieving sales and profit targets.
  • Champion continuous improvement and digital transformation within the division.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of senior commercial leadership experience with P&L responsibility.
  • Proven experience in managing, inspiring teams, and organisational leadership.
  • Background in operational and/or service delivery environments.
  • Business qualification (MBA or equivalent).
  • In-depth knowledge of the healthcare sector and its requirements.
  • Strong strategic thinking and communication skills.
  • High level of business, finance, and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to manage change and influence others effectively.
