A leading Global Specialist Insurance Company are currently recruiting for a Director of Operations for the Warranty, Motor and Compliance area of the business in UK and Europe.

Salary - £120-£150,000 + Benefits + Bonus

Summary
The Director, Warranty Operations will have responsibility for the oversight of Operations and IT within the specialist Warranty, Motor and Compliance area of the business in UK and Europe.

This individual will provide leadership, coordination, strategic direction and management of all associated processes and functions within Operations and IT.

Responsibilities:
* Responsible for management of operations of warranty claims, business processing, customer service and complaint handling across UK and EU
* Develop and implement a model to integrate operations to improve efficiencies and customer experience
* Oversight of the software development teams and IT functions, including ownership of the development roadmap and backlog, product design, and input into technical architecture choices to support the expansion of digital capabilities for policy registration and claim handling within each business
* Develop standard KPI's and reporting capabilities
* Build and develop organizational talent
* Coordinate a collaborative team and business approach across the group companies and locations.
* Work closely with group company board directors
* Drive operations to meet the growth targets and strategies of the wider group
* Maintain focus on budget and operational spend
* Deliver superior operational standards to client base
* Support cost base analysis to increase margin in fee revenue
* Support and develop market leading products and strong client relationships
* Manage and drive process improvement

Qualifications and Key Skills:
  • 10+ years of Operations/Project/Data/IT Management experience
  • Experience with digital transformation in claims or financial services
  • Experience working across multiple European countries
  • Experience defining operational (claims and administration) system requirements and communicating with software development leaders
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including problem-solving skills, critical thinking, business analysis, organizational skills and P&L management
  • Ability to effectively create a collaborative, team-oriented environment including mentoring and motivating team members to be accountable
  • Proven ability in the use of metrics and data to drive performance, assure continuous improvement, and increase efficiency
