Operations Assistant required to cover this Maternity cover for a period of around 8 months with a strong possibility that it will become a permanent position.
*This will include minimal warehouse duties

Duties as below:

Shift starts at 6am-3pm / 12pm-9pm finish (1 week early, 1 week late - Mon-Fri)
Salary between £28,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.

· During the day is more office based
· Booking flights with airlines/agents
· Administration duties
· Raising Export Customs Entries on CHIEF (This will be on CDS in April 2024)
· Customs software we use is Descartes - Full training to be provided, however experience is desired
· Manifesting and pre-alerting of flights
· Raising T1 documents for road shipments (1 or 2 per day)
· Warehouse duties are limited, on average 1-2 hours max in the warehouse per day (6am-7am / 6pm-8pm) with the rest of the team
· No heavy lifting, all shipments weigh less than 32Kgs
· Import SFD and FDE clearances
· T1/T2 clearances/discharges
· Temporary Admission clearances
· Importation & Exportation of ATA Carnet / Cites goods

· Forklift Licence desirable but not essential
· DG awareness desirable but not essential
· Driving Licence desirable but not essential
