Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this opening for an Operations and Logistics Administrator is a vital hire for our client who works within the events space.

Headquartered in Birmingham but operating across the globe, this company’s success has soared and they have managed to keep the family feel! Partnering with household brand names, they pride themselves on the smooth delivery of events and keeping up with industry trends and the latest technologies, the team are passionate and you can tell that they love what they do!

Benefits:

  • Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
  • Salary guide: £26,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Duties:

  • Assisting with all administration tasks related to events which includes arranging travel and hotel bookings, and ensuring all insurance policies are compliant
  • Supporting with logistics planning for events, working with the warehouse team to coordinate deliveries and collections
  • Attending project meetings to take meetings and better understand event requirements to support your planning activities
  • Managing the resource calendar, and overseeing the rental and freelance database to arrange resources, labour and hire equipment
  • Covering the hire desk team, when required, which includes handling enquiries, booking hire equipment, and providing in-depth quotations

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a previous logistics and administration role, with a good understanding of overall operational excellence
  • Demonstrates strong administration and planning skills and is capable of working with accuracy
  • Confident communicator, able to build relationships internally and with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers
  • Possess excellent time management and organisation skills, able to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Tenacious, resilient, adaptable and solutions-driven
