Operations Analyst

• Oversee business controls for functions covered by the Head of Operations, ensuring compliance and risk awareness.
• Perform regular Quality Assurance checks across the Operations area, producing relevant MI and KPIs.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational workflows.
• Provide cover for the Settlements team and support transaction and trade reporting under Mifid2 and EMIR.
• Promote a culture of continual improvement and be the key contact for New Product Analysis across Operations.
• Advise on the development and testing of changes within Operations, including new systems and data governance.
• Assist in embedding operational resilience in all processes and managing relationships with key third-party vendors.
• Ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

• Experience in managing, setting, and testing controls within an Operations setting in the banking or financial services sector.
• Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Team player with excellent people, organisation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and a good understanding of banking legislation, policies, processes, and procedures.
