Our client is a forward-thinking, vibrant, creative company - they design and develop leading consumer products for retailers globally. They are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Administrator to join their operations team. As an Operations Administrator, you'll be at the heart of their operations, working closely with the Head of Operations to ensure seamless coordination across departments and the efficient delivery of products to their customers.

Duties and Responsibilities in this Operations Administrator role:

  • Manage sales order processing, meticulously entering data for independent customers, key accounts, and distributors, while prioritising adherence to delivery schedules.
  • Efficiently handle marketplace orders, communicating with customers and updating product information, collaborating with their EU warehouse for swift and accurate deliveries.
  • Provide timely assistance to customer inquiries regarding product details, samples, compliance documentation, and internal data collation.
  • Act as a liaison between various teams throughout the organisation, facilitating effective communication and workflow management.
  • Review supplier manuals to understand procedures, ensuring all relevant teams have necessary information to fulfil orders accurately and punctually.
  • Oversee any necessary rework of stock, ensuring costs are approved and accounted for appropriately.
  • Undertake any additional duties as required, aligning with the primary responsibilities of the role.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Possess at least 2 years of experience in operations administration, with exposure to sales, warehouse, or logistics administration being advantageous.
  • Confidence in communication, the ability to push back when required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with a strong numerical aptitude.
  • Prior experience in the consumer products industry.
  • Display a positive, proactive attitude, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organised and adept at multitasking, thriving in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to take initiative independently while fostering a collaborative team spirit.
