Excellent opportunity opens for a Risk Manager with strong Operational Risk experience to join a dynamic Bank and assist in a crucial, flexible role. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management and oversight of the Risk department and all required processes. This role is suitable for an individual with well-rounded knowledge of Operational Risk, with experience in dealing with the ICARA requirements under IFPR Rules. We are looking for a flexible individual who can adapt to changing priorities and is willing to immerse themselves into different tasks. 

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Key involvement with the Company’s ICARA to ensure it is inline with IFPR Regulations. Assisting senior management and other business areas to update the documents as required.
  • Review the existing BCP set-up and advise on areas of improvement.
  • Contribute to the Risk component of the Risk & Compliance Committee as required.
  • Monitoring and due diligence checks on countries and clients that the Bank trades with.
  • Oversee due diligence on account openings, reviewing limits for existing/new accounts, ensuring no overnight positions, and identifying any exposures on accounts.
  • Overseeing status changes to client mandates.
  • Assisting in third party risk assessments.
  • Oversight of counterparty ratings and limits.
  • Managing operational risk incidents and relevant reporting.
  • Process review to identify ways to streamline and heighten efficiency.
  • 4-eye checks on daily processes as required.
  • Risk control and information security monitoring program.
  • POA list management.
