Remuneration: £35,000 - £40,000 + bonus

The role of the Operation Manager - Timber Products will involve:

• Operations Manager position overseeing all logistics and warehouse operations for the supply of a range of timber products
• Oversee the operations and logistic for warehousing and distribution
• Support the Transport Manager with the costing of vehicles, fuelling and repairs
• Monitor stock levels within internal warehouse
• Managing staff selection, performance, development and training process to ensure team competencies and capabilities to meet targets
• Producing forecasts for budgets, stocks and schedules
• Promote and ensure H&S procedures are adhered to across the business within the warehouse and on the yard
• Circa 12 reports

The ideal applicant will be an Operation Manager - Timber Products with:

• Must have Operations Management experience
• Ideally will have experience working within the timber industry dealing with: sawn timber, carcassing timber, fencing, cladding , decking, doors, sheet materials, and structures
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Experience in enforcing health and safety practices
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ideally will be degree level educated in Operations, Business, Management etc
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Organised, dynamic and self-motivated
