Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 17:00
  • Additional Shift Rates:
    • Standard: £11.59
    • Mon - Fri 22:00-06:00: £15.41
    • Saturday 06:00-22:00: £14.49
    • Saturday 22:00-06:00: £17.39
    • Sunday/Statutory Holidays 06:00-22:00: £17.39
    • Sunday/Statutory Holidays 22:00-06:00: £20.28
Job Description: We are seeking an Onsite Support Worker to join our clients team and provide comprehensive support services at a sheltered scheme based in Wenvoe including associated dispersed units. The role involves various responsibilities, including safeguarding, compliance testing, and organizing activities for residents.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide onsite support at the sheltered scheme and associated dispersed units.
  • Conduct safeguarding activities to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
  • Perform in-house testing, including emergency lighting, legionnaires, and fire alarms, in collaboration with the compliance team.
  • Coordinate and facilitate activities for residents to promote social interaction and community engagement.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to resident inquiries, concerns, and emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, incidents, and resident interactions.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar support role preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
