Job Role: Onsite Planning Executive

Company: Reed Talent Solutions – working on-site at the Royal Mail with Angard Staffing

Location: Northampton NN6 7GZ - this will be based on site at Crick

Car driver essential due to location and lack of public transport

Salary: £26,500 per annum (uplift to £27,500 per annum for the night shift) – pro rata to £11,000 for weekend only shifts

We have various shifts and contracts available as per below:

Contracted Hours: 40 hours per week Monday – Friday plus 1 in 3 weekends where you get 2 weekdays back in lieu

  • 1 x Shifts: Earlies – 5.30am – 2.30pm plus a 1 hour lunch break
  • 3 x Shifts: Lates - 1.30pm – 10.30pm plus a 1 hour lunch break

Contracted Hours: 16 hours per week Saturday & Sunday

  • 2 x Shifts: Earlies – 5.30am – 2.30pm plus a 1 hour lunch break
  • 2 x Shifts: Lates – 1.30pm – 10.30pm plus a 1 hour lunch break
  • 2 x Shifts: Nights – 9.30pm – 6.30am plus a 1 hour lunch break (salary uplift to £27,500 pro rata)

What is the role:

Reed Talent Solutions and the Royal Mail have a joint venture called Angard Staffing to deliver onsite recruitment solutions. We are looking for several On-site Planning Executives to work across multiple shifts for this 24 hour a day operation. You will be based onsite at the largest Royal Mail distribution centre based in Crick, Northamptonshire which is the size of 3-4 football pitches, so expect to do a lot of walking!

Day to day duties include:

  • Act as the onsite eyes and ears for the Northampton based recruitment teams here at Reed to ensure shift fulfilment of temps.
  • Building strong ongoing relationships with the hiring managers and supporting our teams of onsite temps with coordinating holidays, payroll and timesheets.
  • Responsible for new starter inductions and orientations
  • Supporting with any grievances.

Who would suit this role?

  • Customer service/account management/on-site/warehousing experience
  • Resilient personality and able to handle demanding and challenging situations
  • Reasonable level of personal fitness to walk around the huge site
  • IT literacy, particularly with MS Office Products such as Outlook, Excel, Word and Microsoft Teams
