Oncology Nurse

Job Title: Oncology Nurse

Client: NHS Tayside

Rate: £30.91 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Oncology Nurse to work in our client's hospitals in NHS Tayside. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with cancer and other related illnesses. They will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administering chemotherapy and other treatments to patients

- Monitoring patients' conditions and reporting any changes to the medical team

- Providing emotional support to patients and their families

- Educating patients and their families about their condition and treatment options

- Maintaining accurate patient records

- Participating in clinical research studies

Qualifications and Skills:

- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN

- At least 1 years of experience in oncology nursing

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- SACT Skilled

- Knowledge of chemotherapy administration and side effects
