Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead the successful execution of overhead lines projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and budgetary requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and motivate on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project milestones safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
  • Site Operations: Oversee day-to-day site activities, including resource allocation, equipment management, and logistics coordination, to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce rigorous health, safety, and environmental protocols, promoting a culture of safety awareness and best practices on-site.
  • Client Relationship Management: Foster positive relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, providing regular updates, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven track record in overseeing overhead lines projects, ideally within the energy or infrastructure sectors.
  • Extensive knowledge of overhead lines construction methodologies, technical specifications, and industry standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Relevant qualifications in civil engineering, electrical engineering, or construction management preferred.
  • Health & Safety certifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work are essential.
  • Experience working in North Scotland or similar remote and challenging environments is advantageous.
