Are you passionate about supporting families and providing vital services to children in your community? VNA Recruitment are currently on the lookout for a dedicated Office Manager to lead administrative operations and ensure the efficient functioning of our centre.

The Role:

As the Children's Centre Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth running of our centre's administrative functions. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing day-to-day office operations, including managing administrative staff and delegating tasks
  • Maintaining accurate records of children and families accessing our services, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
  • Coordinating communication between staff, parents, external agencies, and partner organisations
  • Managing financial processes, such as budgeting, invoicing, and petty cash handling
  • Facilitating the organisation of events, workshops, and activities for children and families
  • Providing administrative support to the Centre Manager and other staff members as required

Requirements:

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • Previous experience in office management or administration, ideally within a childcare or family support setting
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to working with children and families
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications and database management software
  • A proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
